Clémentine subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Laval University , in collaboration with the Direction de la recherche forestière (DRF), on two projects related to vegetation restoration and reforestation of former forest roads to improve caribou habitats. Since 2024, she has been a researcher at the DRF in the forest genetics team, where she is responsible for the Norway spruce genetic improvement project. Clémentine is also interested in the biophysical constraints during plantation establishment, particularly related to soil characteristics and the root systems of different species, in the context of climate change.
