Auger, Isabelle
Isabelle Auger completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in statistics at Laval University (B. Sc., 1995, M. Sc., 1997). She was employed as a statistician by the Canadian Forestry Service (1997–1999) and by the Centre de recherche en endocrinologie moléculaire at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université Laval (CHUL) (1997–1999) before joining the biometrics team at the Direction de la recherche forestière in 1999. At the time, her main tasks were the planning of experiments and the statistical analysis of data. Since 2011, she has been working as a statistical expert on forest modelling. Her current mandates include developing forest growth models and providing strategic advice on forest modelling. She is particularly interested in linear and non-linear mixed models, generalized mixed models and SAS and R programming.
