Picher, Geneviève
Geneviève Picher is a statistician, a graduate of Université Laval since 2007. From 2007 to 2015, she worked at the Direction de la recherche forestière (DRF) of the Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts (MNRF), where she worked primarily on the development of the white spruce and Norway spruce yield tables. She then worked at the Research Centre of the Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Québec and at the Direction des inventaires forestiers of the MRNF before returning to the DRF in 2023, where she carries out statistical analyses of various research projects, advises researchers on statistics and participates in writing scientific papers, in addition to being interested in R and R Markdown programming.
