Frisko, Rosalie

Rosalie Frisko holds an Integrated Bachelor of Science in natural and managed environments (B. Sc., 2022) as well as a master’s degree in forest sciences (M. Sc., 2023), both awarded by Laval University. She joined the Direction de la recherche forestière in 2021 as an intern, contributing to the environmental monitoring activities of three forested watersheds. Her master’s project was closely related to these activities and aimed to quantify the average annual flux, interannual variability, and litterfall seasonality over a period of 22 to 32 years. In winter 2024, Rosalie began working as a researcher within the Service de la génétique et de l’écologie forestière. She manages the Réseau d’étude et de surveillance des écosystèmes forestiers québécois (RESEF), a project that aims to document the intrinsic characteristics of forest ecosystems, monitor their long-term dynamics and assess the impacts of environmental changes on their evolution.
