The Règlement sur l’aménagement durable des forêts du domaine de l’État came into force on April 1, 2018. This Règlement replaces the Regulation respecting standards of forest management in the domain of the state.
The guide is designed to facilitate an understanding of the new regulatory requirements and provide access to the training necessary for the application of the regulation. The guide is primarily intended for ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs personnel as well as those of the other ministries involved, academic institutions, and businesses and organizations working in crown forests.
The guide explains the Règlement sur l’aménagement durable des forêts du domaine de l’État. Its structure comprises regulation chapters and appendices, presented so that the reader can quickly and easily locate specific information. It also presents information on possible exceptions to forest standards under the Sustainable Forest Development Act and provides access to training on the regulations.
