Runoff from a sandpit operating area or the storage area for the organic matter that covered the sandpit must be diverted to a vegetation area located at a distance of more than 20 m from an open peat bog, a swamp, a riparian shrub marsh, a lake or a watercourse. The distances referred to in this section are measured from the perimeter of the peat bog, marsh or swamp or from the upper limit of the shore of the lake or the bank of the watercourse. In the presence of a riparian ecotone, the measurement is made from the limit of the ecotone farthest from the environment to be protected.
