For all sylvicultural treatments requiring marking according to the requirements of the sylvicultural prescription, the marking must be carried out by a person whose skills are recognized by the Minister.

Additional information
The selection and marking (in French only) of trees are key steps not only in carrying out selection cutting but also for all partial cutting work for which marking is required.
The MFFP is responsible for the markers’ trade recognition program, and publishes the provincial register (in French only) of apprentice markers and forestry markers on its website.
